Having a snap to grid feature for editing your maps would be useful and efficient for level design as you wouldn't need to guess where your geometry should go or slowly editing the axis values.

I agree with this idea, it would make designing game worlds much easier if a designer wanted it to follow a strict set of geometric rules. In my project I require this due to the precision mechanics i plan to have for the player
