TOPIC: Animation problem

Animation problem 1 year 2 months ago #3153

I've imported an AWD model with a lot of animations in it, and I can't get them to play properly.

The model has sub models because the model has multiple textures. When I load the model, it looks
fine, but it looks distorted when I set the submodel to 0 (which is required to play animations).

Is there a way to play the model without setting the submodel? I can play the animations perfectly

Hello,

We acknowledge the issue with AWD compatibility, and as a result, we recommend transitioning to MD5 as a workaround.
Please be informed that the new Cyberix3D version is currently in development, and regrettably, we do not have plans to address this particular issue in the current iteration of Cyberix3D.

Best regards,
The Cyberix3D Team

By the way, there is an issue with the MD5 model when applying lighting; it won't affect the model unless you are using the 'Timeout' command to set the lighting.

For example, you can see this in action here:

Is there a way to have animations play themselves from the start? Because I notice when I trigger an animation, it starts the animation at a random frame.
