How to link objects together and still collide 8 months 3 weeks ago #3188

I'm having a problem where, I try to link objects together, but the linked object is not solid, how do I fix this? :(

Do you have collision enabled for both objects in the properties?

Also how are you linking the objects together? Are you putting one in the other, or are you putting them both under another object or group?

I am putting one in the other, and enabling collision in both does nothing

If they have physics, put them both in a group, enable sub model collision. If the models disappear in the editor, just run the project and stop running and they'll re-appear in editor.

If they're just static, putting them in merge should be fine.
