TOPIC: Changing Camera Start Point and Teleporting

Changing Camera Start Point and Teleporting 9 years 4 months ago #176

I can't seem to figure out how to change where the first person camera starts. Using Set Camera doesn't work for some reason. It also doesn't work using "if collision>set camera" for teleporting like the tutorial video showed. What exactly do you need to do to set up the character camera. Thank you

so it looks like I can do a "if mouse down>set camera" for teleports, collisions I'm still having trouble with. I little work around for the spawn point is just having a "timeout>set camera" Hopefully that helps for future spawners!! B)

This is a bug, but until we resolve this issue, You can use the "if collision" inside the teleport as a workaround.
Here is an example:

Yup that works. The set camera might have some bugs as well or at least when using "use current location" this was helpful nonetheless. Thank you!
